Maya wants a Director to lead its AI Research & Development pillar — identifying, adapting, and turning frontier AI into high-impact fintech solutions. This is a research-function lead, not a vertical delivery manager.
What you'll do
- Lead Maya's AI Research & Development pillar
- Identify, adapt, and transform cutting-edge AI advances into high-impact fintech solutions
- Build a research team at the intersection of academic rigor and real-world application
- Bridge frontier industry/academic research into Maya products, customers, and operations
Requirements
- Proven track record of building and scaling world-class research organizations
- Ability to set multi-year technical vision for an AI R&D function
- Experience applying frontier AI in a product or fintech setting
