Posted 7h ago

About the role

The AI / LLM / Software Engineer builds secure, governed AI applications using large language models, retrieval, agents, computer vision, and model serving. The work turns those capabilities into supported production services for Motolite, including store video analytics and manufacturing inspection.

What you'll do

  • Build retrieval-augmented generation systems, knowledge assistants, AI agents, and classification and generation workflows.
  • Build and operate computer-vision services for store operations, including queue length, wait time, occupancy, footfall, and dwell time.
  • Build vision applications for manufacturing, including defect inspection, line monitoring, and PPE and safety compliance.
  • Own the video pipeline from camera and NVR integration through annotation, training, inference, and persistence.
  • Build AI over IoT and sensing devices such as temperature, weight, vibration, energy, RFID, and scanners.
  • Establish vision evaluation for precision, recall, lighting and camera-angle robustness, and drift.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Three or more years in software or machine-learning engineering, including at least one year building LLM, agent, retrieval, computer-vision, or sensor-AI applications in production.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals are required.
  • Python, plus LLM patterns such as prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, tool use, and structured output.
  • Experience with CCTV, NVR, or edge video pipelines is a strong advantage for store and plant assignments.
