Business Analyst Manager
About the role
The Data and AI Translator turns business problems into framed analytical and AI demand, coordinates engineering and data science to deliver it, and checks that the business uses the result. Domain assignment is confirmed after a capability assessment. This is the manager posting.
What you'll do
- Translate business problems into framed analytical or AI use cases with a defined decision, user, and expected action.
- Write requirement documents, use-case briefs, success criteria, and acceptance tests that engineering and data science can build against.
- Coordinate Data Engineering, BI and Context Engineering, and Data Science and AI through delivery of each use case.
- Validate outputs against business logic and run user acceptance with the business.
- Interpret dashboards, forecasts, and model outputs and convert them into recommended actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Three or more years in business analysis, commercial or operations analytics, or a domain role with heavy data use.
- Experience acting as an intermediary between business and technical teams is required.
- SQL to an independent working level, including profiling and validating data.
- Working knowledge of Databricks, Power BI, and natural-language analytics such as Genie Spaces.
