About the role

We’re looking for a Video Editor who combines strong editing skills with creative versatility. You’ll create short-form and long-form video content for social and YouTube, working with both AI-generated and traditional footage. This role requires someone who is technically strong, fast, detail-oriented, and able to produce polished content in a startup setting.

What you'll do

  • Edit short-form social content for platforms like Instagram.
  • Produce 4–5 short-form video assets per week.
  • Edit 1–2 long-form YouTube videos per week, typically educational, tutorial, or talking-head style.
  • Work with motion design elements and create engaging visual storytelling.
  • Repurpose content across multiple platforms.
  • Use AI-generated footage and assets alongside traditional editing workflows.
  • Deliver polished, high-quality content with strong turnaround times.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in video editing.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality editing work, ideally for the U.S. market.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Experience with short-form social content and longer educational/talking-head formats.
  • Strong motion design instincts and visual storytelling ability.
  • Comfortable learning and using AI-generated content tools.
  • Technical skill is more important than accent or spoken English fluency.
  • Self-motivated, growth-oriented, and eager to improve.
