Remote Business Systems Manager for Biotechnology Company

Posted 47m ago

About the role

A biotechnology company in the regenerative medicine and personal stem cell banking space is looking for a Business Systems Manager to lead a full CRM migration and take ownership of the systems that run the business. Recently acquired and now modernizing its entire technology stack from the ground up, the company is a lean, bootstrapped team of roughly 20 to 50 people. Its current systems were inherited rather than designed, and today the setup depends on costly external developers with no internal owner to tie everything together. Day-to-day, this role leads the migration from Salesforce to HubSpot or Zoho, keeps the existing client portal integration intact through the transition, and takes over maintenance of a laboratory information management system and patient database after handoff from an external development team. The role also identifies operational gaps and builds new integrations for front office and sales teams. Success means a consolidated, modern systems stack owned in-house that reduces dependence on outside developers.

What you'll do

    Requirements

    • 4–8 years in CRM administration or business systems administration, with end-to-end ownership of the systems (not part of a large specialist team)
    • Hands-on experience leading at least one CRM migration from Salesforce to HubSpot or Zoho, including data migration, configuration, and platform build-out
    • 2–3 years hands-on Salesforce administration (migration source platform)
    • Cross-platform CRM experience spanning Salesforce and at least one of HubSpot or Zoho
    • Multi-system integration experience connecting a CRM with portals, databases, or operational tools via API or middleware (Zapier, Make, Workato, or custom integrations)
    • Experience independently taking over and maintaining technical systems handed off from external developers or vendors
    • B2+ English (CEFR) for internal team and vendor coordination
