About the role
This Entry Level Paralegal role exists to support attorneys and senior paralegals across the full immigration case lifecycle. You will help organize case files, prepare immigration-related documentation, coordinate client communication, and maintain accurate records across multiple legal and CRM platforms. The role is highly execution-focused and detail-intensive, requiring someone who is organized, proactive, tech-savvy, and eager to learn. You’ll work closely with senior legal professionals while operating within a structured training environment designed to help you grow into immigration law operations and case preparation. What you'll do
- Build and maintain organized digital client files in SharePoint, saving and labeling documents per firm naming conventions
- Update and maintain accurate case records in Salesforce and Docketwise, monitoring for missing case materials
- Draft immigration-related USCIS forms under supervision, and prepare exhibit lists and petition support documentation
- Support attorneys and senior paralegals with petition assembly, reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy before submission
- Communicate with clients on document requests and status updates, coordinating follow-up via email and virtual channels
- Join attorney-client Zoom calls to take notes, and handle basic client inquiries, escalating legal matters appropriately
- Operate across Microsoft 365, Teams, Adobe, Salesforce, Docketwise, and SharePoint, using AI tools like Claude and Perplexity to support drafting and research
- Study immigration law concepts and track USCIS-related updates to continuously build casework knowledge
Requirements
- 1–3 years of administrative, operations, legal support, or office experience
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to apply feedback consistently
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Highly proactive and self-directed learning mindset
- Comfort working in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
- Strong internet connection and reliable remote work setup
- Proficiency with productivity tools and cloud-based software platforms
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
