AI Operations & Agent Engineering Specialist
About the role
Technical operator and builder for a multi-agent system (MAS) that supports governance and compliance workflows. Design parent/child agent architectures, orchestration, integrations, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Not a traditional GRC analyst role.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain AI agents that support governance, compliance, knowledge retrieval, and decision-support workflows.
- Develop parent-agent and child-agent architectures for orchestration, routing, and task delegation.
- Build agent instructions, prompts, tools, actions, connectors, knowledge sources, and escalation logic.
- Deploy and maintain agents across development, testing, and production; manage versioning and regression testing.
- Investigate agent failures, tool-execution errors, and integration issues.
- Build integrations with approved enterprise tools and MCP-based tool integrations where approved.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience developing, configuring, operating, or supporting AI-powered automation, agentic workflows, or LLM-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AI agents, prompt engineering, workflow design, and troubleshooting AI system behavior.
- Experience with APIs, data connectors, knowledge repositories, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
- Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI Services, or similar AI workflow platforms.
- MCP servers or comparable agent-tool integration patterns strongly preferred.
