An SQA Engineer II is an individual who is passionate in Agile testing and software development. A contributor and an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. A servant leader who manages, runs and builds test/automation suites scripts with the goal of assuring software quality.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, API, and integration testing.
  • Use AI-assisted testing tools to generate test cases, analyze defects, and improve test coverage.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive QA processes and improve testing efficiency.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
  • Use AI or analytics tools to analyze test results, detect patterns, and predict potential defects.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Leverage generative AI tools to assist with test case creation, documentation, and debugging analysis.
  • Maintain and improve test automation frameworks and testing strategies.
  • Ensure quality standards, security considerations, and best practices are followed during testing.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of solid experience working as Software Tester
  • Solid experience in Manual Testing such as functional, integration, regression testing
  • At least 2 years of experience in designing and building automation frameworks and scripts
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Good knowledge of Software Test processes, risk mitigation, dealing with multiple teams
  • Good knowledge of test automation tools such as Playwright, Xray, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of API testing tools that require strong coding skills to create tests
  • Good background in JavaScript/TypeScript and other relevant programming languages used in automation scripting
  • Experience using AI-assisted development or testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI test generation tools, test analytics platforms).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Great sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organisational skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Working knowledge of test management software
