Power BI Developer
About the role
What you'll do
- Create and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
- Work closely with the development team to perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Implement best practices for data management within Power BI.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and comprehend their data needs.
- Translate business requirements into data solutions and recommend improvements.
- Stay abreast of the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry best practices.
- Apply new knowledge to enhance existing dashboards and reports.
- Train end-users on effective utilization of Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Provide ongoing support and address user queries related to Power BI.
- Document data models, processes, and methodologies for future reference.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation to support data governance and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI
- Must have a stable employment history.
- Proven experience in creating insightful reports, engaging visualizations, and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
- Understanding of best practices for designing visually appealing and user-friendly data representations.
- Demonstrated track record as a Power BI Analyst or in a similar role, showcasing successful development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports.
